A description of the fuel flow through the SWK2000 range.Fuel enters through either bottom port A or B. Plug off the inlet port that is not in use. 1st StageFuel enters the inlet port and is diverted down and through the aluminium centrifuge. Water and dirt particles are thrown to the outer walls of the centrifuge. 2nd StageWater and dirt particles are then directed towards the side of the bowl. 3rd StageDue to the effects of gravity, water and dirt particles settle at the bottom of the bowl. 4th StageFuel is then drawn through the vanes situated on the outside of the centrifuge. Water and dirt particles cling to the vanes until they coalesce and fall to the bottom of the bowl due to gravity. 5th StageThis stage comprises of water-resistant paper, which prevents water from passing through the filter element. The filter is available with either a 10, 30 or 60 micron replacement elements. Fuel then leaves the filter through ports C or D. Plug off the port that is not in use. SWK2000/5
